Where Can I Buy LaughSteps Products?

LaughSteps is an online store. You can browse and order from LaughSteps.com at any time, from anywhere in South Africa.

We do not currently operate a walk-in retail shop. All orders must be placed through our website unless we have provided you with a special quotation.

How to Place an Order

  1. Browse our products and collections.
  2. Select the product you would like to buy.
  3. Choose the correct size, colour, quantity or product option, where applicable.
  4. Click Add to Cart.
  5. Review your order in the shopping cart.
  6. Click Checkout.
  7. Enter your contact and delivery details.
  8. Select the available delivery option.
  9. Complete payment using one of the payment methods shown at checkout.
  10. Look out for your order-confirmation email.

Please check your email address, telephone number and delivery address carefully before completing your order.

Secure Payment

Payment is completed securely during checkout. The payment options currently available for your order will be displayed when you reach the payment section.

If LaughSteps provides you with a special quotation or bulk-order invoice, payment may be made by EFT using the banking details shown on the official invoice.

Your order will only be processed once payment has been successfully received or confirmed.

Delivery Across South Africa

LaughSteps delivers educational toys, learning resources and classroom essentials throughout South Africa by courier.

Our estimated delivery periods are:

  • Gauteng: approximately 5 to 7 working days
  • Other provinces: approximately 6 to 10 working days

Delivery Charges

Choose one of the following delivery options at checkout:

  • PUDO Locker | Pickup from nearby locker: R69 per order
  • Door-to-door delivery | To your home, business or school: R129 per order

The delivery fee applies regardless of the size or value of your order. 

What Is a PUDO Locker?

PUDO Lockers are secure parcel lockers operated by The Courier Guy and located at convenient places across South Africa. They allow you to collect your order without waiting at home for a courier.

How PUDO Locker Collection Works

  1. Select PUDO Locker as your delivery method during checkout.
  2. Choose your preferred PUDO Locker collection location.
  3. The Courier Guy delivers your order to the selected locker.
  4. You receive an SMS or notification with a unique collection PIN when your parcel is ready.
  5. Visit the locker, enter the PIN and collect your parcel within the stated collection period.

PUDO Locker delivery is only available for products that fit inside the lockers. More information is available from The Courier Guy.

Delivery Restrictions

We do not deliver directly to farms or remote areas. Customers in these areas should select a convenient PUDO Locker for collection, where available.

Product Availability

Some LaughSteps products are held in stock, while others are ordered from suppliers after payment has been received.

A product being available to order does not always mean that it is physically available for immediate dispatch, but we will deliver within the specified delivery times. 

Colours and Product Variations

Many educational products are supplied in assorted colours. The colour shown in a photograph may not always be the exact colour delivered unless a specific colour option can be selected on the product page.

Handmade, wooden and hand-painted products may have small differences in colour, grain, finish, size or appearance. These natural variations make each product unique and are not necessarily defects.

Product packaging may also change without notice.

Orders for Preschools and Teachers

LaughSteps welcomes orders from:

  • Parents and caregivers
  • Teachers
  • Preschools and crèches
  • Daycare centres
  • ECD practitioners
  • Homeschooling families
  • Occupational and educational professionals

Order Confirmation and Tracking

After successfully placing your order, you should receive an order-confirmation email. Please also check your spam or junk folder.

Once your parcel has been dispatched, courier or tracking information will be provided where available.

Tracking information may take several hours to become active after the parcel has been collected.

Receiving Your Parcel

Please provide a delivery address where someone will normally be available during business hours.

When your parcel arrives:

  1. Check the outer packaging for visible damage.
  2. Confirm that the correct number of parcels has been delivered.
  3. Open and inspect the products as soon as possible.
  4. Compare the contents with your order confirmation.
  5. Keep the packaging until you are satisfied that the order is correct.

If a parcel appears badly damaged, take photographs before opening it.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Products

If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact LaughSteps via Whatsapp as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging and courier label
  • A photograph showing all items received

Do not discard the packaging until the matter has been resolved.

Returns and Store Credit

Please read the LaughSteps Returns and Refund Policy before placing your order.

Eligible return requests should generally be submitted within 10 days, subject to the conditions of the returns policy. Approved returns may be processed as store credit where applicable.

Products must normally be unused, complete and returned in their original packaging. Certain opened, used, personalised or hygiene-sensitive products may not qualify for return.

Courier costs and other applicable charges will be handled according to the reason for the return and the published returns policy.
